Describe Yourself:
Jo-Anne S. Culley is a 24 year old inspiring poet. she was born in East Orange, NJ. She has overcome from alot of abuse as a child, in which she began to write poems as a escape at the age of 9 years old. At the age of 13, she had to take care of her father who suffered from a stroke then had to take care of her late grandmother.. so she took a break from writing. At the age of 16, Jo-Anne began writing short interracial romance stories, Jo-Anne then graduated high school at the age of 17. She worked as a assistant teacher for a day care, school bus attendant, taking care of the elderly in her neighborhood, had a house cleaning business and worked at Target and started .
Two years ago, Jo-Anne went to school to become a certified Nurses assistant, where she graduated on the top of he class at Edison Job Corp, that's where she started writing again . Jo-Anne believes that caring for people, inspiring and giving people advice is her life's calling.
